Thank you to all of our sponsors and attendees at the 10th Annual Mardi Bras!

Each year, this Mardi Gras-themed cocktail party brings together over 400 BRAWS supporters and features hors d’oeuvres, silent auction, raffle, dancing, photo booth and full cash bar.  Mardi Gras cocktail attire and masquerade masks are encouraged. New this year was an opt-in people’s choice award for Best Masquerade Mask, Best Themed Individual or Couples Attire, and Best Themed Krewe Attire. Congrats to our winners!

Best of all, proceeds help provide dignity to women and girls in crisis by delivering new bras, new underwear, and period products at a time when the means to empowerment matters the most.

  • Please consider using a hired car service like Uber or Lyft. If you drive, complimentary valet is available at the Grand Ballroom entrance.

  • A variety of passed and displayed hors d’oeuvres and delicious desserts are offered.

    Each guest receives one drink ticket at check in, good for beer or wine, and non-alcoholic beverages. Full bar is available and additional drink tickets are available for purchase at the event. Water, coffee and tea stations are also available.

  • Mardi Bras is Cocktail Attire. Masquerade Masks and Mardi Gras themed Cocktail Attire are encouraged. Whether it be sparkles, feathers, brocade, purple, gold, green, or all of the above, bring out your most fabulous, elegant, and eye-catching Mardi Gras fashion.

  • Guests sign up in advance or on site to be candidates for People’s Choice for Best Masquerade Mask, Best Mardi Gras Themed Individual or Couples Cocktail Attire, and Best Mardi Gras Themed Group, or “Krewe” Cocktail Attire.

    Each guest will receive three votes upon check in. Sponsors receive extras votes. Votes can also be purchased at the event.

  • Each guest receives one complimentary raffle ticket upon check in. Additional raffle tickets are available for purchase with your ticket or at the event. Raffle items are available for pick up after 10 pm and must be claimed at the event

  • Bidding is available to anyone, regardless of attendance. Auction items must be picked up within 2 weeks after auction close at a location in Vienna, Virginia.

  • Mardi Bras needs volunteers to help with set up, break down, registration, and on-site ticket sales. Contact Beth at volunteer@supportbraws.org to find out more!
